Internship - Guidance, Navigation & Controls

Swiss based Dufour Aerospace is developing an eVTOL platform based on tilt-wing technology to make future manned and unmanned electric and hybrid electric aircraft a reality. Dufour’s prototypes have already flown many hundreds of flights – both manned and unmanned. About the role

We are seeking an intern who is passionate about controls and flight dynamics to join our team and work on our in-house flight control system. In this role you will be responsible for improving our flight dynamics model and developing various control and guidance strategies. In our dynamic startup environment you will need to be adaptable, and there is a great deal of room for growth. Working location is Altstetten ZH.


  • Design and analysis of new approaches in guidance, navigation and controls
  • Continuous integration and testing in simulation
  • Setup and maintenance of deployment pipelines


  • Background in robotics, control, computer science or a related field
  • Project experience working with C++ and Python
  • In-depth understanding of control systems theory


  • Experience with path planning and optimization frameworks
  • Experience working with embedded systems
