Internship - UAV Avionics

Swiss based Dufour Aerospace is developing an eVTOL platform based on tilt-wing technology to make future manned and unmanned electric and hybrid electric aircraft a reality. Dufour’s prototypes have already flown many hundreds of flights – both manned and unmanned. About the role

We are seeking an Intern being passionate about drone avionics to join our team and work on our subscale tilt-wing aircraft platforms. With your background in electronics and embedded systems, you will be in charge of improving flight-critical hardware and implementing new features on our in-house flight control system. In our dynamic startup environment you will need to be adaptable, and there is a great deal of room for growth. Working location is Altstetten ZH.

Responsibilities

  • Improvements to avionic systems
  • Integration of new payloads in hardware and software
  • PCB design in KiCad/Altium

Required

  • Hands-on experience with PCB design
  • Experience working with C++ and embedded systems
  • Soldering and manufacturing skills

Desired

  • Experience with the STM32 platform
  • RC model experience
  • Experience with QGC and MAVLink
