1 hour flight, 120 kilometers distance milestone reached – let's keep going!

Developing larger drones means constant testing, analyzing, and adapting—step by step, but always with an eye on the big goal. Reaching a milestone reminds us why the tedious work is important.

We are proud that, in recent days, we exceeded one hour of flight time for the first time in a test flight, covering a total distance of 120 kilometers, based entirely on our self-developed flight control and power management system.

With the certainty that we are on the right track, we are continuing on the path of constant improvement. The flights we now carry out almost daily on our tilt-wing fleet provide us with valuable new data to work towards our goals. The next step is further optimization of the propulsion system – from the propeller to the motor, including the cooling system, but also in electronics and structure. At the same time, we are working on integrating our precision landing system and improving the control room setup.

As a product, Aero2 will initially carry a useful load of 38 kg (e.g. 20 kg payload over 200 km in a standard cargo mission). With further improvements the useful load will increase, allowing for even more payload and more weight. Aero2 is addressing large market opportunities, such as coast-to-island or island-to-island transport of critical goods from the medical or industrial sectors, or in public safety.

We are excited and continue to push ahead at full speed to fundamentally change the way we think about air logistics today, moving toward more flexible, affordable, and autonomous solutions.
