Zurich, July 2026 – Dufour Aerospace is pleased to announce the appointment of Mathieu Janier as Production Lead, effective 1 July 2026. The appointment marks another important step as the company continues preparing the Aero-200 for production and commercial deployment.
As Dufour Aerospace progresses from aircraft development toward manufacturing, strengthening production leadership is essential to ensuring the company is ready to scale efficiently while maintaining the quality and engineering standards that have defined the Aero-200 program.
Mathieu will lead the coordination of production activities across the organization, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to support one of Dufour Aerospace’s most significant milestones: the transition from development into production.
His role will focus on strengthening collaboration across departments, streamlining production processes, and ensuring the organization is well positioned for the next phase of the Aero-200 program.
Mathieu brings several years of experience within Dufour Aerospace, having contributed to multiple aircraft development programs across design, manufacturing, and production engineering. He consistently demonstrated the technical expertise, operational knowledge, and leadership qualities needed. His deep understanding of both the platform and the organization made him a natural choice for the role. Since joining the company in 2020, Mathieu has contributed across several programs in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.
As Dufour Aerospace continues expanding its flight test program, advancing remote operations, and preparing the Aero-200 for commercial deployment, establishing a strong production organization is a critical part of the company’s long-term strategy.
Mathieu’s appointment reflects Dufour Aerospace’s commitment to building the leadership, expertise, and manufacturing capability needed to successfully transition innovative aircraft from development into production.
