Island resupply flights are underway in the Baltic Sea

Dufour Aerospace has started conducting BVLOS island resupply flights in the Baltic Sea. We are building repeatable aerial logistics corridors between strategic Baltic islands and the Swedish mainland. The flights combine long-range BVLOS operation over open water, remote mission control from Zurich, and seamless island turnaround before returning to the mainland.

Building directly on our previous performance demonstrations and initial BVLOS operations in Sweden, our focus has shifted from proving isolated capabilities to building the complete operating infrastructure required for long-range logistics routes. While today’s flights still represent operational proof-of-concept missions, they establish the procedures, systems, and operational foundation for repeatable island resupply across the Baltic region.

Building Scalable Logistics Infrastructure

We believe that automated aviation starts with logistics. Remote communities, islands, industrial sites, and contested environments depend on critical supplies, yet conventional transport is often slow, costly, or constrained by infrastructure. These are the environments where automated, point-to-point aerial logistics can create immediate value.

It begins with the flying assets. Our Aero-200 transports a 20 kg payload over 200 km using true vertical takeoff and landing, requiring no specialized runway infrastructure. On top, we are extending our technology to selected third-party platforms, creating a broader aircraft portfolio for significantly higher payloads, ranges, and operating environments.

The Operating Stack

To build aerial logistics networks at scale, Dufour builds the full operating infrastructure:

1. DufourAircraft: Purpose-built flying assets, including our flagship Aero-200 tilt-wing aircraft, complemented by automated third-party platforms.
   
   
2. DufourOS: The operating multiplier, spanning high-integrity onboard systems, remote Operation Control Centres, mission execution, and fleet-level supervision.

Together, Aircraft and OS create a compounding ecosystem, which is rolled out hand in hand alongside our operating partners. Our activities in Sweden continue in close collaboration with Savback Helicopters, supporting the introduction of long-range UAS operations in the Nordic market and laying the foundation for scalable aerial logistics networks.

Aircraft are the assets. DufourOS is the multiplier. The network is the outcome.
